ABOUT

Hi, I’m Anna Hartley-Simon.

I’m a design lead with 15 years of experience working across complex service-intensive industries. I started my career at Apple, spent 7 years at IDEO, and helped establish a service design specialty while working in house at Airbnb. I now run my own design practice focused on the thoughtful integration of digital and physical experiences.

Over the years I’ve held many roles: writer, researcher, creative director, experience strategist, design professor. I’m a creative shape-shifter, and look forward to drawing upon all of these skills throughout our collaboration.

Depending on the type of engagement, I’m happy to embed with your organization, scope out an independent project, or build a team of designers to fit your needs.
